Adopting the life philosophy of the Chinese poet, Xanadu presents the desire of retired people in cities for leisurely lives. At the entrance, by extending the landscape pavement from the interior to exterior of the house, it becomes a space for the transition of emotions. In the center of the space, a three-sided transparent flower room is placed to connect the public and private areas. It makes an exquisite greenish view throughout the living room and the bedroom.

Rotatable door leaves are designed at the foyer to serve as the main focus of the case. Generally, both door leaves are placed overlapped at the entrance. Closing the door leaves at the entrance side, provides privacy for the inner space. By closing both door leaves, it isolates the living room from other spaces and transforms into a guest house. Connected together, the study and dining room make an important gathering place for the family. Alongside the walkway, the transparent sliding doors and blinds separate the guest area and private area, partitioning the space into different functions.

The DINK house owners expect highly open and flexible space for their house. From the living, to the lounge, and to the bedroom, three space connected as a straight line. The lounge is placed in the middle to separate the public(greeting) and private space(living). The multi-level space conducts the concept 1=3. The material is made of rough stone, warm antique wood and cork to create a modern and natural atmosphere. Profoundly using sedate color to create a sophisticated and Yara lifestyle.
