Through adding the grating system in the room, the public and private areas are divided functionally. In addition, both dynamic and static behaviors are separated to reduce the interferences s that the two bring to each other. This concept is similar to the design of formicaries, which brings a sense of stability like “home”, to the ants seeking food outside then returning.

The designers attempt to make the living return to the primitive state. They imagine that ancient people lived in cave dwellings, and the same materials were used in all space and life of appliances. There are no straight lines or right angles in the area. The stretching of the space in sight is created due to the changes of time. Through the digital operation, the plywood is designed wholly in the whole area of the sales office and the sales tools, which creates the unique for the visual experience.

The project is the public space of a congregate housing. The building exterior has an Art Deco expression. The basic vocabulary and spirit is extended to the public facility and lobby to shape the prototype of initial design. In addition to the Art Deco geometric lines and sophisticated patterns, the emphasis is to present the aesthetics of the material. The design more resembles the natural decor of Art Nouveau that emphasizes on handicrafts. The uniqueness of both styles is integrated to harmonize diverse imagination and carefree ambience in the space.
