Urban Nature Residential House
It is a 300 square meter mansion located in central Taipei. Living in a busy and crowded city, a peaceful moment is what everyone needs. In order to release stress and find comfort after a hard day work, a home of resort functions might provide an inner peace. Urban nature is the main design concept to this mansion. The designer opened up the original compartment to nourish the space with the maximum of sunshine while privacy in specific corner is still preserved. Creating a partly hidden and partly visible view by altering the path so that the users find surprises in different angle at home.

Concrete stands for simple, basic, nature and solid so as to deliver a message of strong and reliable image of the company. Wood, on the other hand, add a touch of warmth to soften the tense of the space. Nature logs are used in the project not only to respond to the concrete surroundings, but also placed in 3 different positions to enclose a warm wood surface region.

With only one window in public region, hardly can sunlight and air find a way to enter the house. Creating a route for essentials is the first target. Re-modifying the layout to give public region an open and fresh atmosphere while the private bedrooms can still preserve their own bathtub embedded bathrooms. Boundaries for specific regions are combining one another. The foyer is extending to the restaurant area, the storage spaces are hiding behind the exhibition cave while the display library is acting as an invisible stop to make sure the privacy preserved.

A 5 stories house located in Hsinchu, Taiwan. With a big back yard and breeze from the near mountain, nature flows in smoothly and hold the families together effortlessly. To invite more nature to the interior spaces, light oak furniture runs through the spaces to increase photosynthesis inside. The furniture is being stretched to create smooth patterns that extend the sight as if a deep breath is taken and released into a meadow bathed in sunshine.

It is a 150 square meter apartment located in Taipei. The interior spaces are separated by color tones to form a route when coming home. Entering from a gallery-like foyer, a calm voice quiet the clamor down. A bright and clean space gives a big welcome when the front door is opened. Embraced by the pure atmosphere that takes away the vexation. And chestnut flooring delivered a fragrant of protected smell when walking into the bedrooms, which provides a good relaxing mode for bed.
