So instead of making the thorns too dull, thorns has been placed carefully along the stem in an arrangement that keep them out from irritating the skin. Gold is one of the most precious materials, and using it in shape of a packaging and container makes the little gems look even more valuable in a subtle manner, to convey the message that they are the main attraction. By showing off the first rows it creates the illusion that there should be more gem stones under the unpeeled surface. The concept was inspired by unwrapping & peeling concepts like unwrapping a gift, unwrapping a chocolate bar ,opening a canned food , peeling a corn or fruits. In general the concept of unveiling something precious ,delicate and secured.

“Brilliant Slit” is basically a simple ring that is slit open in the middle. By pulling back one side of the organic-looking cut the ring’s mystic guts can bee seen, which are basically white brilliant cut diamonds and their gold prong settings. The colors of gold plating and diamonds varies in different models. And only by showing off a few brilliant-cut gems where surface cuts open, it creates the illusion that there should be way more gem stones underneath the whole body of the ring.
