Chunqing uses simplicity and continuous shapes to that harmonize with its surroundings. The materials used are low in saturation; this creates an atmosphere that speaks of the restrained beauty, calm elegance, and life within its space. The interior responds and harmonizes to its exterior. Both, speak of beauty of integrity and continuity. From a perspective of urban landscaping, the building’s roof design creates a change in the shape of the skyline. This building not only coordinates with its surroundings, it transforms its surroundings.
