The Lupin Pavilion Residential Building
The Longtan District in Taoyuan, Taiwan has a rich history. The red brick kiln smoke stacks, acacia trees, and lupin flowers are all highlights in the plateau region. Each can be felt throughout the project; the building’s facade is akin to the smoke stacks, the natural acacia trees have been transformed as a reception desk in the lobby, and the lupin flower pattern on the glass of the pavilion. The 50 households share 7 smart pandemic preventative elevators with state-of-the-art ventilation systems and hand gesture capabilities to limit touch points. Each residence also has a private mudroom.
