I distill various forms that can both serve as designs for tables, but also be processed into abstract geometric entities which function as visual art. I try to create, from my own set of values and forms, beauty in a tradition that is related to Arte Povera and Minimalism.The question whether my creations are to be perceived as utensils or visual art is basically beside the point.

My design is classical, not fashionable who it's make different from the most other design. It's timeless, complex but not complicated, easy legible and structured. It's also very special that the majority of my pieces of furniture are interlocked or stapled objects. The dish called Janus, is composed of 2 parts: a exterior part in dark blue ceramic or porter & a interior part -a real dish- in light blue ceramic.

Summer 2014 I met the famous Sicilian ceramist Claude Aiëllo in Vallauris. During this encounter the idea arose to start a common project , using the materials that are specific to each of us : ceramic for Claude and wood for me. This project is a polyvalent object ,consisting of plates in ceramic with a table-leaf in multiplex that can glide above one or two superposed plates so that the result is a low table , or glide above three plates with as result a dining-table.

Just like Immanuel Kant, I start from an aesthetic idea that give my work its soul. I follow ever my own way: intuitively, emotionally and consciously involved in a specific theme.Triangles in (E)motion is a story who start from a solid geometric shape, a equilateral triangle, the first one which the points of support don't be cut. It distills various forms that can both serve as designs for stools, tables etc. but also be processed into abstract geometric entities which function as visual art
