This 650 sqm. restaurant contains a “thirty people open dining area” and “eleven VIP rooms” .The open dining area and stage like food bar were surrounded by an illuminated uplight glass walk path which made the centre stage as a statement. Natural bamboo ceiling feature with directional spot lights in a dark color open ceiling is another dramatic element to the main theme and helps drawing attention to the centre. The challenge was to transform a well established business hotel and give a new boutique style image. The "Lively Metropolis" design concept was inspired by mutualism and energy, incorporating subtle curved lines with yellow dancing orchids. New illuminated curved staircases and modern chandelier modular combine to create a vivid centre piece of the double ceiling in the entrance lobby. All seating were designated in a pool like fashion with sleek lines furniture. The whole atmosphere is given a warm feel using contrasting neutral shades with sharp yellow dancing orchid as accents.

Modern geometrical approach on traditional ‘Chinese screen with views’ concept were applied on hotel main lobby to transform an upscale spacious environment. These screen dividers separate different functions of spaces but also link up the whole lobby area together to create different view on different angle and privacy sufficiently. Environmental friendly materials and LED lighting as the major materials on the project. Warm tones of different shades and materials with accent wood veneer finishes were used to enhance a warm and cozy welcome atmosphere.
