Flatiron Lamp
Achille Castiglioni was convinced that the designer should delete, delete, delete and at the end find the core aspect of the design. Bruno Munari was used to say that to complicate things is easy, while to simplify things is very hard. Flatiron comes from the crasis of this two references. A light source encased by a body made by a simple metal sheet with just one fold. The minimum amount of elements for a product with great prominence, a collection of lamps characterized by a design as essential as effective.

Dream Table Lamp
A dream, a lamp thought during the exploration with concrete sparked by the Concretamente objects' collection. An oxymoron comes to life where a pillow made in concrete cuddles a globe of light, creating a cocoon atmosphere. Concrete as a material in the collective imagination is associated with hard, cold and heavy. MrSmith Studio broke this scheme and subverted the collective imagination, suggesting new interpretations, modeling concrete into a soft, enveloping, light and warm shape.

Embossed Nutella Jar for spreadable cream
The embossed Nutella jar has been designed to be reused for food preservation once the cream has finished. A new format of the iconic shape of the Nutella jar suitable for food preservation, with significant benefits in terms of ecological sustainable life cycle. On the front, a raised glass imprint shows the logo with the company’s traditional image. The first ever Nutella jar designed and produced especially to be reused for food preservation.

Tone Wireless Home Speaker
Tone is a wireless home speaker with body made in concrete, material chosen for its dense nature providing a solid enclosure. It's equipped with two full-range and one subwoofer speakers that provides a continuous power output of 200W. Built-on batteries and Bluetooth allows Tone to be placed anywhere in the house providing a Hi-Fi sound experience. Both color of the concrete and material of front and back panel can be customized and the optional aluminum front grid is kept in place trough magnets.

Edro Street furniture system
New cities offer and at the same time impose new ways of leaving daily life and urban spaces, therefore this system is able to merge seamlessly nature and city. This street furniture system combines the vase for plants and flowers with the bench, keeping the nature as the center focus. The seat of the benches is obtained with two planes inclined towards the center, where a recessed drainage channel brings rain water into the vase.

A ceramic table clock that aims to become a character, seeking for an empathic relationship with the observer, placing itself as an active element of the home or office system. This project starts from the desire to create a table clock with sinuous shapes, designed with a single soft and harmonious stroke of pencil.

A dining chair conceived to be able to easily adapt to different types of interiors and placements on the market thanks to the multiple options of colours and finishing. Metal frame and seat plus backrest made in wood cnc machinered for an optimal confort and look. The optional upholstered seat makes Midori even more valuable and places it in an even higher market segment

100 percent Food Packaging
As an answer to global pollution we've designed the first ever Nutella Package fully recyclable. Glass, aluminum and paper can be easily recycled, providing a lower impact on the ecosystem. The plastic lid has been replaced by a paper one that can be printed and this makes the old label useless because all information are now printed directly on the lid itself. This innovation has brought three advantages: the reduction of components and processes, the elimination of plastic and total recyclability. Moreover without the label, the silk-screen decoration on the glass remains totally visible.

The design of this project take inspiration by the spoon. Small soft shapes with a wider surface for the handle area. Pregnancy test is meant to be used in a very intimate, precious, emotional moment of a woman’s life, therefore Spoon has been designed with a friendly shape, reliable and easy to use. Spoon is made with injected bio-plastic and thicknesses of all components has been calibrated in order to save material. All measures taken in order to reduce carbon footprint.

Ferrero launches the new Estathe bottle, a packaging dedicated to out-of-home consumption. Lovers of the real brewed tea infusion can now have a unique taste experience thanks to the preservation properties of glass. This new packaging reinterprets the iconic shape of the beloved Brick with a modern twist. The value and transparency of glass together with the innovative and practical ring-pull cap make the Brand even more Premium and complete the product range offer. The project is the result of a choral work between the Ferrero team, the design of MrSmith Studio and the production of Verallia

Fiume Coffee table
Fiume is a system of coffee tables made in marble. Three different shapes and sizes for the table top and three different hight for the legs. Legs have different hight in order to give the chance to partially overlap the tables. A sophisticated look with a reasonable price thanks to the right selection of materials and technologies.
