LSD trying to make the installations in the space a “bridge” that uses the relationship between natural light and materials to connect space with matter.The interior consists of a series of open and closed continuums. Light and shadow, combined with changes in the seasons and the sky, present a sense of rhythm of change in space.

Boundary between interior and exterior space is blurred when combining with outdoor scene The carpet spread here with abstract pattern derived from Zaha Hadid's 3D painting, consisting of reconstructive lines and structural changes of color blocks, gives the space another distinctive attraction of personality.

Located on the west bank of xianghu lake, the project was like a floating "square box" which connected by the sculpture with the park entrance. Clear and restrained design language and extremely simple materials create a quiet and powerful architectural environment. LSD uses the simple black, white and gray as the main tone in the interior, and such strong hierarchical rhythm create the beauty with different levels.

The designer imagine: if there is no cultural fault or Western worship, what will the Chinese aesthetics be in this day? Based on this assumption, we determine to use a “parallel” existence to split tradition, and to dismantle and reorganize it in the method and material level, so as to demonstrate the oriental image and to build the “China” belonging to the contemporary Chinese. This is our understanding of the contemporary China, and it is also the concept that we used to design the One Majesty:Image of a parallel China.

We try to maximize the art into the life, bring “home” the personality of the artistic taste, even with prejudice, But not deliberately, do not show off. The addition of art must be incorporated into this simplicity.

As a Chinese, we tend to endow a certain “Subject” with a “Special Meaning”, and turn various “Images” into an organic and tiered landscape based on the law of aesthetics, from which people may experience a feeling different from the current time and space. All the “Images” will connect, reflect, and influence each other. Through which the scene is demonstrated and the inner feeling is conveyed.
