The architectural design concept of the library station is based on the traditional Chinese bamboo writing slips, which were the main media and writing medium in China with a deep cultural and historical reference. Together with modern spatial composition, use of highly recyclable sustainable Aluminium as features and barrier free design, a comfortable and harmonious library station is created.

Idyll of Saikung Visitor Centre
Situated in the idyll of Sai Kung, the project Hoi Ha Visitor Centre, creates a retreat for visitors in the countryside enabling their close contact with nature, which has become rare in the city of Hong Kong. It is designed as a rural settlement with individual buildings organically related to the landscape. The design creates a small-town like atmosphere with varieties of veranda and courtyards closely knitted together that reinterprets the idea of old traditional village in a new manner.

Situated at the heart of Tsuen Wan City centre, the Garden revitalized the urban elevated network, the city ground and the nearby mass transit railway station via a conscious oasis hub design. The Garden not just add an greenery resting node for the busy Hong Kong City lives, but also activates the local community via provision a range of amenities. The Central Cone feature diffuses light into the interior and passively encourage cross ventilation.

The Community Refuse Collection Point
Situated in the centre of Kai Tak residential district, the Green Recovery Station serves to collect, sort and recycle the city wastes. The Station is integrated with extensive outdoor greenery and courtyards to harmonize with the surroundings. The partially transparent building facade displays the waste treatment machinery and the recycling process to the public. The Station promotes the concept of pleasurable sustainability and instills a green living culture in the community.

The theme of the Garden is City of Contrast, it represents Hong Kong in Beijing Horticultural Exposition 2019 with the juxtaposition of two contrasting conditions of the city: a hyper dense urban fabric and a serene agricultural environment. The design aims to explore the relationship between urban and garden, and the aesthetic value of edible plants. It invites visitors to re-imagine the notion and possibility of sustainable planting in hyper-dense environment and it deploys layers of urban fragments that resembles a cohesive form of impressionable memory of this compact city.

Once an isolated waterfront area adjacent to Tam Kung Temple, the project enhances the permeability and connectivity of neighbourhoods under the urban design perspective. It destines to be a popular venue for Deities’ Birthday celebration as well as a wide range of initiatives including concerts, Chinese Opera performances and carnival. The project revitalizes and transforms the harbourfront into a vibrant place by introducing the public domain through Transfiguring Tradition.

Urban Oasis Sports Centre
Located near the rural village area in Shatin, the project Che Kung Temple Sports Centre is not only a sports centre, but also an urban oasis for inter-generation enjoyment. Besides sports facilities for the youth, extensive courtyards and gardens are created as a leisure retreat for nearby elderly population and help to bind the building with the surrounding natural setting. Dialogue and visual linkage are intentionally created between courtyards, gardens, function rooms, inside and outside, to bring different users together and encourage visitors to explore the building and the vicinity.

The Serpentine Stargazing Landscape
The design is inspired by nature and for admiring nature. The curved ergonomics stargazing profile not just resembles the dynamics of the scenic shoreline of Sai Kung, but becomes a harmonic overtone of nearby landscape. A tranquil and comfortable spot for the busy Hong Konger to lie down and feel the beauty of the night sky. The light wood color with a touch of timber grain blend the design into Mother Nature. As a counterpart to the vivid city, the design is a window to unveil the natural side of Hong Kong to local and tourist hikers, provoking a rethink of the image of Hong Kong.

InPark Secret Community Garden
This project is to turn a tiny open space surrounded by dense commercial buildings from a hard paved ball court into a flexible and playful secret garden. The park comprised of a gentle-sloped green lawn, a half basketball court, a multi-purposed stage, shelters, exhibition kiosks and supporting office and toilet facilities. Surrounding the lawn, seven sets of public artworks are installed for the celebration of the industrial past of the area. The rebirth of InPark gives rise of a refreshing vibe to the district and adopts to the changing lifestyle of the local people.

The self-service library station at HK Cultural Centre is the second station launched in Hong Kong, which provide 24-hours borrow and return service to the public. It takes reference from the unique architectural features of the HK Cultural Centre. The modern and minimal design brings highlight to the left-over space and provides a comfortable and functional library station to the public. The design will serve as a prototype for library stations at other districts with insertion of different materials and transparencies into the generic structural frame to suit various site conditions.

To fight the COVID-19 in Hong Kong, the need to provide quarantine camps could not be more urgent and was unprecedented. As a response to such an urgent need of the society, "Counting by hours" was the principle for project delivery. The timely construction of Quarantine Camps was made possible by using Modular Integrated Construction. Collaborative support were given by various government departments to share a common goal: Together WE fight COVID-19. Dedicated workers also played vital part in the fight. It was an honor to fight the pandemic for the wellbeing of Hong Kong.
