View Profile Consult Now Hire NowThe Table lamp is made from a deer leather captured in Otsuchi, Iwate, Japan. Otsuchi was destroyed by the devastating tsunami caused by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. Our crop has been damaged due to a significant increase in number of deer, while the population of local residents declined. Local hunters started the Gibier business to carry on the life of a deer that was hunted as vermin. This lamp was created in a hope to carry on deer's life and create a feeling of peace to the user.

This sofa was born from the act of wrapping it in a single piece. It has become a unique sofa with undulations. This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the sofa in a freer form? The idea expanded from the thought that wrapping it in a single piece of fabric, like crepe, might yield an interesting shape, leading us to arrive at this form.

While pondering how to create a new table, an image came to mind of two pieces of leather suspended in mid air. The Designer contemplated how to realise this vision, and arrived at this form. The curving single piece of leather creates a sense of floating. This center table is almost gravity beflying. This table, as if suspended in mid air, will bring a touch of the extraordinary to your everyday life.
